List & Label Celebrates Anniversary with Version 30 and Offers New Reporting Features for Web, Cloud, and Desktop

Constance, October 17, 2024 – combit, a leading provider in the field of reporting components for software development, today released version 30 of its reporting tool List & Label. With the reporting tool, developers can extend their own applications with numerous features for reporting, printing, and exporting. The anniversary version supports the new .NET 9 and includes many new features specifically designed for modern cloud and web environments.

One of the most important new features is the drilldown functionality in the Web Report Designer, which enables deeper analysis of complex data structures directly in the browser. This greatly simplifies data analysis, as detailed information can be retrieved with a single click – without the need for additional data queries.

Another highlight is the embedding of fonts in project files, which is particularly useful in cloud and Docker environments. Developers can thus ensure that CI-compliant fonts are displayed correctly everywhere without additional configuration.

List & Label 30 makes it easier to manage global applications with new time zone functionality for server-based reporting. Developers can define different time zones for clients and databases to ensure accurate timestamping and data processing across distributed systems.

In addition, the accessibility of the Web Report Designer and Viewer has been further improved. Both controls support a range of assistive technologies, are fully screen reader compatible, and allow for the adjustment of font size and contrast according to Section 508 requirements.
